Our 2022 AGM was held at Lyrup Oval recently, with all positions declared vacant ahead of the 2023 season.
A solid turn out of past & present players attended & were updated on the current state of affairs of the club, which continues to go from strength to strength on & off the field.
Rob Romeo was reinstated as president, as was Dave Setchell as secretary. Shannon Harkins will also return as treasurer but with Paul Hall as co-pilot as he plans to take the reins at the next AGM. A succession plan is also shaping up as Romeo & Setchell look to step down over the next couple of years to let some new faces have a crack at running the club.
Rob Johnstone is the new coach, with Paul Glassey as assistant coach.
The AGM wound up with Dave Setchell being presented with a life membership award for his 11 years as a player & 8 years on the club’s management committee.
